Davits on a 309

Hello all,

I'm just wondering if anyone has fitted davits to a 309? I'd like to do it (luckily can fabricate my own) as it would be very helpful as far as mounting solar panels as well.

Can anyone advise?

I will be using them for the first time in a few weeks. Pictures are still showing on the broker's listing at lbys.com The bimini is straped to it, so when I need to fold the davits in, to avoid slip fees for the added length, I need to work on the straps for independent use of the bimini and davits.
