Just for info: the Data Marine knotmeter on our '87 H31 was acting up so I sent the speed sensor to DMI Marine,Inc. in MA(WWW.DMIMarine.com)for a bench check. It was, in fact, shot so they promptly sent a replacement. They sent they also sent the old one back. Anyone need a plug? I'd like to tell you the replacement was gratis but it wasn't. Anyway it was great service. I'd previously bought 2 replacement instrument covers from them.

DMI (DATA) Marine very helpful

I needed a new impeller for the knot meter. They sent along replacement o-rings for the transducer and a supply of grease too at no charge. No complaints here....

Agreed with that!

In my case, was the knot meter associated electronic and they fix it in the time frame and price quote promissed. It's is reassuring to have that kind of service for equipment no longer being made or guarantied by the original company... Aldo S/V Isabel Port Monmouth, NJ

No more datamarine.

I wish I had as good of luck with Datamarine. My depth meter went out and the display cracked, the wouldn't test the unit and wanted to replace the whole thing. The cost was higher that a new Raymarine unit. I have had excellent service with Raymarine so I switched. I also have more "plugs" now if anyone neeeds them. 1983 H27

Took me over a year...

to replace my old datamarine corinthian knot meter. Finally recieved the replacement last year, and, it works fine. Working in the marine industry though, I've found that Datamarine is on the ropes financially and having lots of problems. Hopefully they can put their administrative and technical problems behind them.
