I am interested in using the IG products to "refresh" the topside on my '88 L37. However, I am a bit cautious since reference is made to how it might adversely react to painted surfaces. My entire hull is imron blue painted, and I was concerned that if some of the IG product found its way through the toe rail and onto the hull, i could end up in deep blueberry yogurt! Is this a risk?

2 part paint may be OKAY

Greg: A two part paint like Imron MAY be okay. Bill is absolutely correct, you need to ask Jim about this before you try it.

Two part paints (well cured for a few days) OK

Our cleaners will not attack a two part paint after it is completely cured and can be used to take off varnish spatters, tar, old sealant etc. You can always test by using some on small unobtrusive area (as they say) on white paper towel. Our new Superglaze product can be used to simultaneously remove olight oxidation from paintwork, fill swirls and light compounding scratches as well as produce a new "mirro hard" shine. I think that Maguires have something for small areas that does some of this too. Thanks Jim W
