Almost, Bob...

..according to the illustration in Defender, a D1650 has 1650 lbs. of holding, which is recommended for a 34-38 foot power in 20 knots of wind; a 1960 lbs. holding is good for 38-44 feet. They don't list the 2000. Rick D.

2000?

Have looked in several catalogs, for the Danforth 2000. No luck. West Marine offers the following info: a. Danforth Deepset T-11-1800, overall length of 28.25" by overall width of 21" by fluke length of 14.25" - boat length of 25' to 32' b. Danforth Deepset T-11-2500, length of 32.50" by width of 24" by fluke length of 16.25" - boat length of 30 to 36' c. Danforth Hi-Tensile 12H, length 28.25" x width 17.50" x fluke length 15.5" - boat length of 25' to 32' d. Danforth Hi=Tensile 20H, length 35" x width 20.5" x fluke length 19" - boat length of 30' to 36'. Perhaps you can match your anchor size to the data presented above and come up with the info you require. The above figures represent overall lengh (stretched out length from tip of anchor to bottom); overall width width is distance along round rod to which flukes are attached); fluke length (from rod to tip of fluke). Perhaps you have a 20H instead of the 2000.
