Damage at Steele Creek Marina - Kerr Lake

Has anyone been up to Steele Creek Marina to survey the damage from Friday nights storms? I called Saturday morning and it sounded like some serious damage to the docks and the shop/office on D-Dock but not much damage to boats. I have not gotten a call so I believe my boat is OK. It looked like some strong storms went through last night and may go through again today. It's been a tough year at Steele Creek with the ice storms, high water and now strong wind damage.

I was there

I was there on Saturday. There was serious damage to all the docks I visited and the D dock was no longer attached to land. For the number of trees down and amazing dock damage, the boats were mostly in good shape. The dock did its job of protecting the boats, but I think it will be quite a while before you have power and water at the docks again.
