OK I know that Beta Marina engines are marinized Kubota tractor engines. The engines themselves should be very reliable and long lived. But has anyone had one? What's the quality of the marinization process? Also, someone in another forum mentioned Daewoo marine engines. Anybody know anything about them? I am asking because I am, considering repowering my 1983 Cat 30. It has the uNiversal 54-11 now, and is underpowered and the engine is over 15 years old and is tired (still runs fine).
