To all DIY Vega owners. Recently needed to remove the cylinder head
from an 022 engine. Needless to say the head was frozen fast to the
studs after 30 yrs. Found out that 2 bolts 18m x 1.5 x 80 will go
down the spark plug holes and clear the valves and piston. With some
pressure from the bolts and wedges I finally got it off. It should
work on the 021 engine also. This tip may get someone out of a bind.
Be sure to clean the studs and cylinder head mounting holes, and use
anti seize compound on the studs and head when reassembling. Walt
