My idea is show a local place for day sailing or overnight... I try to include 1) Entering harbor, 2) Things to see while sailing and 3) What to do upon arrival. I've seen lot's of sailing channels that show repairs, living aboard, full time lifestyle. I'm thinking more of an ad like format for an interesting place.. this took me over an hour to put together... but it was kinda fun. Thoughts? Comments? Advice. Thanks.

Been there many times. Brings back fond memories including those I’d rather forget like the antics of some while Entering/leaving through the harbor channel which can get crowded. And actually finding an inside mooring on busy weekends was always problematic. Not sure where you took the panoramic from but it doesn’t look like taken from the top of the “dump”.

I suggest you add the info that should be of most interest to sailors entering CuttyHunk for the first time: first-come, first-served in-harbor rental moorings, in-harbor anchoring (limited to a small area) and where, where not to run aground (anywhere outside the marked channel or the mooring area), outside rental moorings and outside anchoring (lots of room), dingy floats, and of course the $5 trash bag fee...

Yeah, I forgot a few things... 1) There was no launch service, I had a paddle-board... lucky didn't get wet. 2) First come for moorings, rafting allowed = get there before noon if possible. 3) Gets shallow deep inside... it's marked yet come up fast. 4) Lobster dinner must be ordered ahead of time...and served at certain preplanned time 5) Raw bar is quicker served on dock than delivery 6) You can get a slip if you reserve ahead of time...way ahead. 7) No bars to speak of, BYOB. 8) Hike to WW2 bunkers is a good take

My next video here, or to another port, is going to include more important info for sailors, I'm going to take notes because most times I forget what I just learned.

Thanks for watching, advising, and comments.

Plenty of moorings available on a Saturday evening the weekend before 4th of July ... but it was Covid-tainted in 2020. Block Island also had moorings available the next night.
