Hi all oday rebuilders,
I know off hand of Appleman, Rbone, and I think Shoaldrafter as Oday 26 or 25 rebuilders. Are there others?
I really need so see a picture of how the folding door attaches at the compression post. also under the sink and if possible, the wood work of the v birth. the only thing i have of the v-birth is the cushion lift-out piece. I cant find the odd little pieces that make up the birth between the forward bulkheads and the molded part of the birth. Thanks Appleman for pictures of the sink and head.
I am currently putting in the carpet and finishing the interior woodwork. I also have to reassemble the forward v-birth, head and sink area. Thanks Rbone for the advice on the carpet. So far I am making paper templates and then using that to cut my carpet. It worked well for the v-birth. I should be able to finish the carpet today. You may be able to see from the picture that i decided to paint the cabin wall behind the sink, and in the hanging locker behind the head. I just seemed cleaner to me than putting carpet in those areas. I used enamle porch paint from Lowes. It seems to have great adhesion. It is what I painted the bulkheads with. I will end the carpet at the forward bulkhead in the v-birth. When done i will post pictures.
The last major leak i have to solve is the port traveler. I hope to solve that today and finish the carpet and put the last of the finish on the teak.
