Hi guys, after reading markus post I was under the boat looking at my cutless/ shaft.I had my yard change my shaft last spring I had a vib problem . In the fixing of the prop, shaft, coupler,ect.The yard guys snaped off the bolts that held the coupler on the shaft.I just cut the shaft off orderd a new shaft and coupler and the guys put them back on.They told me that my cutless had some play!I just changed it last year.today I miked the parts and my shaft is about .950 or so so i have play from the start.My old shaft had paint on it ad had to be striped befor it could be sliped back in.I have a new cutless but it will be 1" should i be looking for a smaller cutless. or the right size shaft ?
