I think i have to replace my cutlass bearing. I have a 1982 h27. does any one know the size I should by? thanks Gary

When you order the part, tell them it is for a 1 inch shaft. That is all I did when I replaced my this year.

FYI articulate sailors out there-- Despite many misconceptions the correct name for this thing is a CUTLESS bearing, as in one that does not razor-slice the shaft while it's spinning. It's an old trade name from the company that either invented or first popularised it. It is NOT named after either a pirate's sword or a 350 Oldsmobile convertible!! JC 2
