I have a 32 CC and have to replace the cutlas bearing so, I was wondering if anyone has done it and have any advice. Also, one of my engine mount bolt's is missing any idea how to fish it out from the bed plate? I was thinking of using a hole saw to access the mount location and either reinstalling the bolt or installing a new one. If i use the hole saw I planned on plugging the hole with epoxy and a dowel. I bought this boat late last summer it is a 1978 with a Yamar diesel. Thanks.

I just changed mine out using the strut-pro puller. Worked well, but slow going since the darn thing was paint welded in place. Plus it looks like when the hole from the aft set screw elongated, someone used a drop of epoxy in the hole. But steady gentle pressure and out it came. Took all of 2 or three minutes to put the new one in. It slid in with a just a little pressure thanks to a good soap coat. Total time from start to finish was under 2 hours. Now that I am comfortable with the tool and know how to shim it quickly, I can say it is pretty easy to use.
