I can get custom wood work performed very inexpensively. I had a local cabinet shop make me a new bow sprit (72" X 9" X 1 3/4"), two four loop hand holds, two three loop handholds, vertical hatch guides and horizontal hatch guides (all of the external wood on my Venture 23). They were made out of red oak. All I had to do was lightly sand, stain, varnish and drill. The total cost to me was $114. I have thought about doing a little brokering business. On a trial basis, if I arranged for this to be done at cost to me, plus 20% or $20 and shipping, would anyone be interested? I can also get metal working done very inexpensively. I got a housings made for my mast head light. Good stainless steel welding is a little more difficult to get done.
