If the shrink wrapping is done correctly, it should have 6-8 "vents" installed around the boat to allow for air flow under the plastic. I leave my hatches open just an inch or so to allow the air to circulate through the boat. never had mildew problems. I stand the cushions up on end to allow circulation around them also.

Hmm, not sure I can leave hatches open with a canvas cover. I would imagine you'll still get some moisture through the cover with heavy rains.

try Lomann sail covers . just got mine and stayed in boat for two dys of rain super cover very dry and left vents open
