I need to replace all of the interior cushions in my 1986 Mac-25. Where can I find new cushions? Does anyone know the price range (approx) that I'm looking at?

When I had mine quoted...
I nearly fainted. It was $1800 for all of them....included new foam. Instead I bought a good walking foot sewing machine...bought last spring...still in the box. That is going to be one of my "there's three feet of snow on the ground for 5 months" projects. I figure it is going to cost just about the same amount, but I end up with the machine and some refined skills...if all goes well

older Mac 25 cushions for sale
I have a full set of the original cushions for a macgregor 25. I had a new set made by a friend at a cost of over $900.00. I didn't mind the old ones but my wife did. The originals were in good shape but a little musty and the snaps for the top cushions are rusty I'll take $200.00 for them. e-mial me for a photo at dbwb@vermontel.net

My boat (1979 Mac 25) has really bad covers, but I got new foam from the guy I bought the boat from, and the price on it was 420.00. The covers I am having sewn for 240.00 labor only, and I am going with Pacific Blue Sunbrella. The fabric I was able to get wholesale, but if you look into the wider (6') rools, you can save money, and have less seams. Shop around and if you can, cut the foam yourself. Hope this is of some help.

A source for foam to build cushions.
We built new cushions for our 26C. Bought the foam over the internet; after pricing it from quite a few sources, this was the best I found. http://www.knoxfoam.com Pleased with the quality and price. We used a duck cloth material we found at JoAnns, a franchised fabric store.
