Curved Plexiglass companionway hatch

Does anyone know a source for the Curved Plexiglass companionway hatch
on the 1980's Cherubini Hunters?

It' 1/2" thick and curves about 1.5" over about 24".

Any input is much appreciated.

It will probably have to be custom made. Look to a plastics fabricator who can do it. To make a curve the acrylic (plexiglass) will need to be bent and heat set. A good fabricator should be able to do that.

Can you post a picture? I have never seen one with a curved companionway plexiglass. I have an 1982 Hunter 30 and it is flat. I am looking to replace it this year so I am interested in what you learn.

went to the annapolis show a few years ago and there was a guy that owned a hatch company there
He cut the piece tossed it in the oven and presto a curved top for my companionway
Dont remember the company name but am sure you could look it up he was on the west side of town by the mall

This is the flat companionway hatch slid open on my 1982 Hunter 30.
The purpose of the picture was to remind me of the mainsheet routing as I removed it for the winter so I could rig a tarp over the cockpit to keep out the snow.

Photos need to be jpg or png. PDFs will not attach. There is also a size limit. Make sure you are sending a jpg and reduce the resolution.

If you are using an iPhone, it will often use a heic format. Use the export option in the Photos app to convert it to a jpg.

Or just use the “share” option to copy the photo to the clipboard, then paste it in the message.
