I have a favor to ask. My boat is in Mexico, so I don't have easy access to it. I was hoping someone would be able to provide a set of measurements for the curtains for all the ports and opening & fixed (qty & length). I brought some of the curtains home, but I am missing measurements on a few, especially qty based on length. Since the boat is kind of new to me, I have pictures of everything except all the ports, go figure.

Anyway, if there is someone out there with easy access to a 1990 Hunter 35.5 Legend, I sure would appreciate it.

Also, does anyone have any pictures of changes to the curtains they may have done, looking for unique ideas.

I will check to see about my neighbors boat when I get back to the marina. But I have a question to ask. Me and my wife are going to bring our boat to Mexico in about a year and leave it. How is it with leaving it, and what part is it in. Do yall feel safe with it down there?Just curious, trying to get all our ducks in a row. Thank you.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I would be glad to share what I know, what area are you interested in? We are in San Carlos, just outside of Gyuamas on the west coast, about 6 hours south by vehicle from Nogales, AZ. We have been going down with our 26 foot trailerable boat since 2005, boat the big boat 2 years ago.

We leave the boat on the hard in Marina Seca. The boat is very secure and costs are reasonable. Marina San Carlos is the wet companion to Marina Seca (translated to Dry Marina). They are all very proffessional and take good care of things. While there is a chandelry close by, they charge double for almost everything (except SS screws - they are reasonable). So it is best to make plans and bring what you need down. You will need a TIP (temporary import permit) that is good for 10 years, this will register your boat in Mexico and let you leave it there.

As far as feeling safe, I feel safer there than I do in Albuquerque..... Small town feeling, police seem to be present and active. I have been stopped for speeding, talked my way out of the ticket. I think if I would have tried to bribe him I would have ended in jail.... I have even made it through a sobriety checkpoint, I am sure they let me pass out of the kindness of their hearts, they were just looking for troublemakers. They know tourists are important to their economy.

Sailing in the Baja is absolutley freakin awesome if you like catching big fish (I caught a n 80 inch Blue Marlin last November - along with plenty of Dorado) great sunsets, nice weather, secluded beaches and lots of wildlife.

So I am going to bring this thread up again, still have not received any help. Sure would appreciate it. Need to order fabric and I am waiting on this information. All I need is the length of the various windows and the number of each size on the boat.

Thanks in advance, Steve
