Curtain Rod Holders

This is my second attempt to get this out, the last must have gotten
lost in the ether. I have had several requests for curtain rod
holders within the last few weeks, and have unfortunately lost those
messages, and don't know who requested them nor how many. I recently
received a small shipment of them, and have been informed that they
are temporarily out of stock, but will definetly have new stocks in
place within a couple of weeks. If you still need/want these things,
let me know "how many", along with a mailing address for shipment.

P.S. I found my first ever 'blister' (osmosis) on the hull, what a
shock !!!

I hope you received my check in the mail by now. Thanks! I'm still working
with the wood on my boat. I'm replacing the hatch covers, companion way
slats with solid teak boards 1/2" and 3/8" and also the decorative partitions
on either side of the companion way inside with mahogany louvre plywood. I
bought the sapele but decided to use this other professional veer plywood.
It's a close match anyway. They were water damaged when the compass was left
uncovered for a while. I hope all goes well with it all.

Florance,
I received your check ok, thanks. You've got your work cut out for you. Cin Cin won't be going in the water for a few weeks, and because I have neglected her for so long, I will probably busy all summer fixing things rather than sailing. Fair winds and following seas. Steve,
I will order 50 of them for you "next" week. I have about 20
of them on hand, from previous requests, but several people
requested them, and then decided not to order. (They aren't cheap).
9DKK per holder plus postage. Send me an address, and I will ship
them off as soon as I get them.

Frank:

Thanks for supplying the group with this information. My wife's best friend is Danish and sometimes sails with us with her husband. As a gift she obtained a handful of these from the supplier you loacted and which you shared with us on-line. We not only replaced our missing ones. Now we have two spares just in case.

Zo,
They cost 9 Danish Kronen apiece, at todays exchange rate, about $1.32
The Danes have been charging a flat shipping rate of 50 DKK, again about $7.32, and it costs me about $3.00 to forward them to you. Not cheap ! But they are the only known source.

Zo,
I assume you want 12 holders for both windows. That comes to
108DKK for the holders plus 50DKK for shipment (to me)plus my
shipping costs (to you). Should be in the neighborhood of $25.00
You can check out www.oanda.com for the latest in the exchange
rate. A personal check in US dollars will be fine, but we can wait
until you get them in your hot little hands.

Hi Frank,

I am also one of the people who expressed interest in curtain holders
but unfortunately never heard back from you how to "do the
transaction". I am STILL interested in about 5 of them - I'm in the US
as well and am happy to send check, address etc. whenever you contact
me directly (off list) with instructions.

Greetings - Sebastian
