I recently bought your products and have stared using them. I had great success with the Pink on my non-skid but don't think that I am using the CRYSTAL CLEAR properly. The directions say to use a white paper towel but they just seem to fall apart. The non-skid on my '88 C30 is light gray and is a checkerboard pattern. The patterning is quite deep. Some of my questions are. 1. Should I be diluting the CRYSTAL CLEAR or using it straight. 2. Should I use a stiff brush. 3. How heavy an application of the product should I be using. On the white top sides I will use SEA GLOW and most of these questions will come up again. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Hayden Watson 1988 C30 Papillon Spokane, WA

Decks ith clear

I have already replied at length direclty to your e-mail address. Detailed instructions for use on using crystal clear as a deck preservative (preventing premature oxidation or mildew) are given on on the "Online INstruction Book" section of www.IslandGirlProducts.com. It says (as you have already surmised) use a brush. Let it soak in a bit (to condition gelcoat), brusch in , spritz with water (spary bottle or finger over a hose)- this dilutes the product. Then scrub some more (makes suds) . Then towel dry with an old bath towel. The exact amount of rinse water you cn find by trial and error. The finish should have a sheen (from conditioner) but have udeminished grip and not leave footprints. Hopre this is of some help. My computer was out for reply frlm Wednesday and only online again today. Hope this reaches you in time. Regards Jim W
