Crushing sailboats, more than 30

I saw this ad today, I am curious to just go take a look at what is available.

But after posting, I realized the ad does not have a phone number and the pictures are taken from within a vehicle, seems suspicious to me. Maybe someone is just trying to collect email addresses.

Respond with your own judgement. I would have deleted this post if I could..but the excitement to share got the the better part of me.

First of all, you can create a free email address and use that, but have no idea what you are afraid of... he's not asking for account numbers or ssn's.....

Second, if you're looking for odd parts, like portlights or cabinets ... you might get lucky...I noticed a pulpit that might have value. All the valuable stuff has been scavenged... notice there are no keels on any of the boats... the lead or iron has obviously been harvested. Do you see any hardware? masts, winches, stanchions....etc. It appears to be mostly worthless fiberglass hulls.

Finally, of you're looking for a sailboat...... don't start here. these are what's left after they've been salvaged...

ok winchesay okay I'll confessI was keeping him a hey secret. He has been a really good source of equipment for me. I may be stopping by tomorrow on way home from Vegas. He buys county auction bats cheap and salvages the lead. I'll ask him if he wants me to give out his phone number.
he has a set of St is there that I want so I have dibs on those. I also have to talk the wife into stopping by, talking her into sailing is one thing but browsing a sailing wrecking yard is quite another.

If you guys want to ride down there on the next couple of days we could share the gas. Send me an IM I'm in Burbank now. It was a long hot drive from Vegas and didn't dare suggest that we stop on the 108 degree desert to look at salvage boats.

Oh man. A man would have to want something awful bad to start scrapping in that heat. I would hate to roll the window down..
