So we're off either Sunday or Monday for about 7-10 days headed down east from Southport (a suburb of Boothbay Harbor).
If any one's in the area we'd love to drop the hook in the same harbor. We have no real schedule and hope to shoot straight to Blue Hill/Jerico Bay and work back to the west.
As a result of all this there's a 3500# mooring in Cosy Harbor (west side of Southport) if any one needs a spot. No garantees but it's 2 years old and checked each year. Muskrat hangs on it from June to Oct and I can look out the bedroom window at her- I sleep well
Only big enough for 38' due to a crowded harbor- call ahead for info on low water etc. On a drain out tide she makes "mud angels"- just like we did in the snow but in this case her keel sweeps the mud!
