My wife and I are planning a 4-6 week criuse down the east coast in our 1979 Catalina 27. We are looking for good advice in preparing our boat. We currently sail on Lake Norman, just north of Charlotte, NC. What are the issues regarding trailering a 27. We would like to here more about how the 27 does in blue water. Any suggestions or comments would be helpful. Brunson

Cruising RI & MA

Hi, I'm fairly new to the cruising world, and I'm now reading a great book that I received for Christmas called "A Crusing Guide to Narragansett Bay and the South Coast of Massachusetts." It's not only a What & How To book, it also provdes historical information about the areas in which you are cruising. I'd highly recommend this book by Childress and Martin if you're coming our way this summer. Good reading for these cold winter nights in New England.
