They are a kick!
Robert, I have a cruising spin on my 26X and it works great. I recently bought a shutescoop for it. Works like a charm. It is basically a long nylon sock with a plastic funnel attached to it. There are two lines attached to the funnel which operate it. When you want to unfurl the spin, just raise the scoop- out pops the spin. To furl, you luff the spin and pull the scoop down. I can do it all from the cockpit. Another thing I like about the spinnaker is the bright colors. Lots of people notice when you go by. There are several places you can get the spins and chutes.
