While the rest of us are scrapping and painting and waiting for the weather to improve, some sailors are off to distant destinations. Last November, a couple from New Jersey set off on their way south and beyond. They outfitted a beautiful Pearson 422 named VERANDA and are currently in St. Augustine, Florida. Their sailing blog is well written and very entertaining.

I love reading others experiences

I was reading Log of ITHAKA for the longest time,,,They finally came home so the log is slowing down and they are getting ready to put it to a close, But the archives are still great reads. http://www.boatus.com/cruising/ithaka/log.asp Then Ive been reading about the sailing adventures of WINDOM a Colorado couple that are now cruising the bahamas.....This is current as they just restarted their adventures last month after a 2 year hiyatus... http://windom.cybox.com/ Tom Neil has allways been a favorite of mine also. http://www.boatus.com/cruising/TomNeale/article.asp Pass the links and the adventures on. rob

Bill Dietrich has an interesting slant on cruising

Ok, maybe more along the lines of living aboard, but interesting anyway....
