Cruising Direct Sail Loft.

Has any one out there had any experience with Cruising Direct Sails; the economy loft of North Sails? I predominately sail Lake St. Clair, a small lake between Huron and Erie, so I don't need blue water sails. I had them quote me last fall and they were significantly less than other local lofts( $1000.00 for an eight ounce nordac mail with two reefs, cunninghamn and sail numbers). I cannot justify spending twice as much for a UK sail, even if I believed all the hype. Thanks as always. Only three more months till launch.

No Problems after 5 years!

I was in the same boat (no pun intended!) as you. I HATED to spend 40-50% more for a 150% Genoa. CD was real easy to work with, walked me through the process, helped me better understand the measurement technique and came through with all promises, on time and on budget. I sail on L. Michigan and have put the sail through quite a bit and it's STILL crisp and has held up well. I'd use them again!
