I am a Beneteau 473 owner and am looking to buy/install a watermaker. At the Annapolis Boat Show, I saw the CruiseROwater. The 20 gal/hr model looks very attractive. Does anyone have any opinions/advice in the watermaker area?

No experience, but just looked at their website and this is pretty expensive. If you plan to sail around the world, maybe worthwhile. Otherwise, seems like there might be better ways to spend that amount of money....

I've used village marine 12 volt models work well last a long time produces 6-8 gal/hr @ 6amp DC use very reliable The only thing I've done is change th membrane after 8 yrs:dance:
