H 260's are great in the Bahamas. We dragged our 260 to Florida from Texas in early August. We launched at Black Point Marina (south of Miami), crossed the gulf stream and sailed over to Bimini. We spent one night in Bimini and then cruised the islands south of Bimini for more than a week. We got back to Florida and pulled the boat out just as evaucations were ordered for the Keys because of Charlie. Actually, Charlie caught up with us when we stopped off a Disney World on the way home. It was one heck of an adverture and the 260 did great - even in the stormy season in South Florida. Because of the swing keel, we could get into a lot of places that other boats could not. We even got a large (twin 200 hp outboards) stuck who decided to follow us across some shallow banks south of Cat Cay.
