cruising in a MAC 26S

yes i have cruised in a 26S for over 3 weeks with 3 aduts and had no problem whatsoever. my cruising area is Desolation Sound on the North Coast of British columbia. it is one of the world cruising area, and i have seen many other Mac boats up from the US. the sea water is 70 to 75 degrees in summer of course. also, very beautiful lakes, short walking distance from the shoreline. happy sailing. You bet

Not that I'd recommend or try it, but I have heard of a brave soul that has cruised from California to Hawaii. Most cruising I hear about is Intercoastal however. Tom Radachi '81 Mac25 "TomKat" Omaha

Goodbye Keel

Seems like the keel would be prone to breaking off in rough sea. Yipes !
