crosby cold plate information

We just purchased a 1981 CS36 with a Crosby 12 volt refrigeration unit with 2 holding plates in the ice box. The unit seems to work well but I have no information. Where can I find a manual or literature on this unit? The boat was in salt water and is now on the great lakes. Any comments on the system would be appreciated.
