The tsunami took out a couple of docks and damaged a bunch of the boats.
Kind of sad as crab season is about to start and some of the commercial guys
are going to be delayed in getting out. Crab season is when they make most
of their income. One 25 ft retractable centerboard sloop had her board up
and is now sitting high and dry on a dock. The wave was 6 feet and we have a
fairly narrow entrance so the harbor didn't take it full on. They estimate
$700,000 in damage which is a pretty big hit for the community. Walt
