Hey guys and gals,I was out waxing the 170 yesterday (due to the year-round Florida humidity I DON'T cover it because mold forms on her beautiful, shiny surface any way I try to cover her) and noticed a creaking noise when I stepped on the cockpit sole just fore of the mast tabernacle, in the front crago cubby (port side, right next to the port wall of the cubby). I was going shoeless (I use clean gym socks on my feet to help aid in buffing the dried wax off of the cockpit sole), so I could feel the ACP laminate shifting up and down slightly whenever I heard the creaking noise-- and put my weight on the spot. Has anyone heard/felt this before? I assume the laminate is just settling UP off of the internal foam, but can't be sure. I also assume it's no big deal, this separation. Anyone have any thoughts? By the way, the 'full body wax' on my 170 takes about 3 full hours (from below the waterline up and the entire topsides). Dancing on the sole with the socks as buffing pads speeds this up somewhat!Gball -s/v Lil SportAlachua, FL
