The cabinetwork on he Tern talks to me as I sail. Nothing
intelligible of course, mostly just creaks and groans, and I have seen
comments about this somewhere, though I can't remember where. It must
be the hull is flexing and the cabinets are moving with the hull. I
assume this is normal and acceptable, or should I be thinking of
adding stringers or frames? Per Brohal noted somewhere that if the
boat were to be sailed hard, in extreme cases, that additional
strengthening could be added in the bows, and I know some Vegas have
been beefed up. Is this something that I should be thinking about or
is the creaking normal. I have not enough experience on other boats,
Vegas or others, to know. Craig #1519
