crazy dave

Just a short note. for those of you who know me, do not post where I am at out of respect for the forum. If ever needed for tough ones, feel free to advise as I did on the Hunter 19 problem with the centerboard line. I am now a full line dealer and such am extremely busy but will make the time if you need help. Last year was a good year with being hit by a car doing 55 resulting in loss of brain cells which is not abnormal for me. Two fractured vertabrae and who knows what else but never missed a lick of work. No moonshine was available to help cure me. Then the mast fallin as a result of a defective mast raise system by a trailer mfg hitting on the shoulder resulting in rotor cuff tear and surgery. Oh well, I am still here. Did buy property in my beloved Virginia mountians at the headwaters of the James River. I am told I have a nest of American bald eagles on my property. The only shooting will be with the cameras. We also have deer and bear. Do not mistake my two fat little darlins named Gracie and Magpie actually two female black cocker spaniels who will lick you to death. As for my daughter, I am proud of her but most of all, my beloved bride, Annie is still putting up with my #zXDukjkk and she gets the atta girl award. I love her very much. I must close but all of you are my friends and the support you have given to me over the years means alot. Thank you

still crazy after all these years!

Sounds like you've had a string of bad luck in the last year. It helps to be crazy, no?

Welcome back

Its nice to hear from you, Dave. I for one, appreciate your comments and tips on this site. Sorry about medical problems and difficulty in finding moonshine. You might have better luck in the VA mountains. Hope you can find time and enjoy some sailing!

Where you at

Hey Dave. It sounds like it's time to hoist your anchor and retire to Va. and sit in a rockin chair where you won't fall off any boats, get hit by cars, or hurt by any faulty mast raising systems. (Not a Hunter system I hope) PS Never understood why you insist on no one knowing where you are. Sounds like you spend most of your time in a hospital.

Wondered where the hell you had gone. Nice to read you are still doing OK Right in the middle of a perfect sailing season down under. Delivering a few nice yachts up and down and around Aus so life down under can't get much better. All the best Dave and again great to see you are still with us!

Good to hear that you're still stumbling around. I tried to call you yesterday at the shop and your cell phone, but no joy there. Sheila and I are going to the boat today after six weeks at home tending to her wrist surgeries. We need to arrange a visit with Julio to look at some minor cracks. I'll call you from the boat. Hey Crazy Dave

Glad to hear you're still hanging in there. It sounds like you're even busier than I am... Peter H23 "Raven"
