The timing gear case gasket on my Yanmar 3GMF22 has finally given up the ghost and I'm losing too much oil. Its time to pull the cover and change the gasket. I've seen reference to the nut being either 18mm (sounds small, but I have the socket) or 27 mm (don't have a socket yet). Turns out a 1-1/16" socket which I have is only 0.005" (5 thousanths) oversize. Has anyone taken on this project and remembers the socket size to remove that pulley? I have to load the car with the specialty tools as the boat is 45 miles away.
