crank for diesel

I recently discovered that I probably can crank my 1gm diesel to start it in the event of a battery failure. However,I can't find any crank that came with the boat. Does anyone know if Hunter puts a crank on the boat at time of sale? Where can I get one????

1GM hand crank

A hand crank is available form Diesel Direct. It is part number 128170-76790 and sells for $50.85. Make sure that you have the protrusion on the end of the camshaft with the cross pin for cranking. It was deleted on later models of this engine. We love to sell cranks, but for not much more you can carry a spare battery. You might check out some recent posts on this subject. If you place the order, the crank will ship the same day.
