I recently purchased a 1982 Catalina 30 (fin keel) including storage cradle. I have decided to rebuild the cradle as there was no allowance for the angle on the bottom of the keel. The result was a bow down storage attitude that didn't allow accumulated water to escape the cockpit.What is the angle of the keel bottom? Should I increase this angle on the cradle support to ensure proper drainage through scuppers? Any advice ? Thanx in advance.
