I have a custom flatbed tandem trailer for an old hunter 25' I used to have. I just purchased a 28.5". Any suggestions on me making a cradle to on my trailer. I really need measurments and advise if a wooden one is the practical way to go. Of course metal arms and pads/bracing is best, but I thought it may be better to get it home"easy" before I go full tilt. Anybody with practical experiance? thanks, Bob I'm a great carpenter and welder.

I just converted my steel fixed cradle for our 1981 h27 to folding. Overall it is 5'x10' with 4 adjustable pads. If it helps I can send you some more specific measurements and a couple pics. Scott

Scot, Funny that I should stumble on this post. I was just given a trailer for an old Columbia. Last weekend I started converting it to my 1990 H-27.
