I recently bought a beneteau 323 2005. I didn't officially take possession of the boat yet since the commissioning is not finished. Last week I went to see the boat at the dealer and they showed me a few areas on deck where there are some cracks in the gelcoat. Mainly around the companionway and the mast base. Of course they will fix that before they deliver the boat. They told me it's not gonna show at all after and not to worry about it.I can't help it I do worry about it. Is this common on a brand new boat? I know it's only cosmetic damage but what if the repairs don't last?I didn't expect that kind of problems on a new boat. I almost wish I didn't see the cracks and didn't know about it. But on the other hand I'm glad the dealer didn't hide it from me.I'd like to know if some of you have been in the same situation. Thanks
