Cracked Spreader bar, 1987 31 Hunter

I have discovered that my starboard lower spreader is cracked at the mast bracket. The online Hunter OEM store doesn't offer new spreaders for my model. Can anyone suggest where I might find a replacement new or used. Or would it be smart to have it repaired by aluminum welding?

I had spruce spreaders on my boat. They had been ignored be PO's. They were rotten.
I sent them to Ballenger Spars and the made me two replacements in Aluminum. They are great.

Have you tried here on the SBO site? I have emailed them in the past with parts I needed but could not find in the catalog and they were able to locate them for me.

You probably have an Isomat Kenyon mast. Rig rite is the correct place to go but you might want to look at Spar Craft also located in Charlotte, NC at the old Kenyon Isomat factory which also was under the name of Charleston Spar. Long story but Rig Rite will carry parts for Kenyon Isomat. Suggest sending a photo what you have to them so they can exactly identify.
