Well, it was a nice hot day in Wickford so I began the process of pulling the old holding tank and all the sanitation hose off in an effort to eliminate an order problem. And yes I did find the (or maybe one of the) problem(s)The hose that takes the waste for the tank to the deck pumpout and macerator is about 3 feet long and makes a 180 degree bend before connecting into a PVC Y fitting. Either because of the sharp radius or maybe because there was water in the line during the winter we bought the boat, there were multiple cracks (30+) in this short section of hose. There were also rust streak associated with most cracks indicating there they were leaking. This section of hose always has liquid unless the tank is empty.Everything is off and now I'm trying to fit odorsafe hose over the fittings. That stuff really is hard to work with. K-Y lubricant helped but I need a hairdryer to finish.Any one else had cracking in this hose? If so we need to tell Hunter.Russell
