Crack on the keel - 2

We checked this morning and seen that,upper part of keel(almost half of it) is fiber and lower is lead. The crack is just on connection of two parts (THANK GOD). I'll send the photo of that connection.Think it'll be useful to keep in archive. Thank you for your fast reponds.

Talk to yard

... or a dealer. This is over most of our heads as mere owners, unless someone has had this precise problem. I would not venture out with the keel in this precarious a position for fear it might drop off.

Usually these problems seem bigger than they are

I am someone who always had this crack on my Cheoy Lee Clipper for some 25 years. I determined it was just normal rusting in my case as the keel was iron and moisture gets in. In my case West Expoxy of the joint would last about 5 years and then I would redo. The yard or dealer is good advise. Lead doesn't rust so I think the dealer will have the best advise.
