CP in the head--how long?

Peggy, we use Raritan's Clean Potty (CP) regularly and agree it is a great product. It says to let it stand in the bowl "for as long as possible" before pumping through to the holding tank. Our usual routine is to pour some in as we are preparing to depart the boat and then pump it through just before we leave. This allows it to sit in the bowl for an hour or so. We often will be away from the boat for two or three weeks. Would there be any problem leaving the CP standing in the bowl for that time and pumping it through upon return? So, does that mean???

Peggy,Do you mean make sure you flush it through the hoses because it will damage them, or it just won't do the hoses any good (as in breaking up salt crystals)???I would assume if you left it in the bowl for weeks, some would seep into te hoses...I use it every time, but have never had a problem that I know of...S.
