Fill A Bucket With Chlorox

JW, I have the same vents on my boat. They were getting all nasty looking and someone suggested filling up a bucket with chlorox and letting the vents soak. Worked great! Really. Definitely worth the $4 try before you sink money into anything new. Takes about 3/4 of a gallon. Soak them for an hour each, one at a time, completely submerged. Take them out, rub them down a little, and they difference is quite substantial. No more black stainy stuff. Just white. Good luck. Joe Mullee

I Just Ordered

I just ordered nicro 4inch low profile in white with red inside..also ordered a piece of starboard 27x12 inches...vents were 90 for two and the starboard was 30...plus shipping no tax...from defender...My plan is to cut the starboard to size, router the edge, countersink four holes, cut out two holes, seal and install...anyone interested in the outcome email me and i'll send a pic...I didnt want to spend 400 for two chrome vents and a white replacement will match whats there.....craig
