I have heard good things about CorrosionX. However before I go crazy with it I'd like to ask if there are any "don'ts" about it. Is it safe to use on hose clamps for example? Does it react badly with gaskets or hoses or other synthetic material?
I'd avoid CorrosionX, it's been known to dismantle electrical systems. Something about dissolving the insulation on cabling. ACF-50 is a better bet. Aircraft Spruce carries it, no affiliation. Smells nice too.
