I finally got around to taking my fridge out of the house and carried it to my boat.
Both power cords had been laying inside it. The AC cord looks fine but the DC cord has that ugly green corrosion and I want to clean it before I connect it up.
I thought a chemical cleaning would be better than trying to scrub it since it's female and I don't think I can do a real good job.
So, it's soaking in vinegar right now but I'm not sure if that's the right thing to do.
Edgestar wants $48.00 for a new one+ shipping. I looked around the net and so far I haven't found another replacement.
Ideas?
