Correct position of transmission when sailing

Hello everyone. (Re 30' O'day) I wonder what is the correct position to place the transmission of my Yanmar. Reverse Neutral, or Forward?
when under sail.

Neutral is the official word direct from Yanmar. If you want to lock it in reverse they recommend a shaft brake.
