I (apparently incorrectly)measured my lifeline diameter @ 1/4 inch. When ordering associated hardware, I see 1/8 or 3/16 inch sizes, but no 1/4 inch. It's a two hour drive to the boat, so I'm looking for some help. Any 29.5 owners know the lifeline diameter? Thanks. George Greenauer S.V. Sail Mary! 1996 Hunter 29.5

Measurement is for the Wire on the Inside

The lifelines on my 23.5 are 1/8" but look like about 1/4". Across the stern rail it is 3/16" and looks larger than 1/4". I know this does not help you much, but I'd bet it is 1/8".

Wire or rope

I called Hunter and they told me the size, then I went one size larger. It looks great I also put two gate's in and this proved to be a real good aset. Last week I read about using no stretch line and that looked like the best way to go. I can not remember which one of the 6 sailing rags it was in because I pass them on as soon as I am done. How does it feel to sail a great boat we love (BOB)and use BOB every weekend and very few can keep up. relaxing and sailing fast Larry and Vivian
