Cored hull?

Does anyone know if the 1976 Hunter 27 has a cored hull? I want to install a depth sounder transducer inside the hull. I'm told that this will not work if the boat has a cored hull. Thanks Ron

Hull is solid foberglass

The decks are cored, but the hull is solid glass. David Lady Lillie
