As I'm now looking at a bare fiberglass bottom on "Boat #2" the subject of an environmentally friendly and long lasting bottom paint rises again.
I'm happy with the performance of my ablative paint, but not too keen on the environmental damage it does, and the need for re-coating every couple of years.
On the Coppercoat website there is a favorable testimonial from Albin Vega owners Bob and Ann, who own 'Flood Tide'.
I'd be interested to here from them (if they are on the list?) or anyone else with first hand experience with this product. I know the initial cost is high, but it appears the cost is more than justified over the long haul.
