Cooling System Universal M3-20

The overflow line off the coolant tank has melted in the engine compartment of my C 28.5, so the overflow goes into the bilge. I want to replace the line, but don't know where it connects in the engine compartment. I assume it puts the coolant back into the system, but where?

It should run from the thermostat housing to the overflow bottle.
